Scott and Cyndi Dunaway

grew up in and around Tate county. They both were around animals from an early age. 

Scott grew up with multiple pets, as well as Polled Hereford Cattle. As for Cyndi, it was Golden Retrievers, horses and Angus cattle. 

They both completed high school in Tate county, along with a stent at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Cyndi Dunaway

From there, they went to Starkville where Cyndi obtained a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medical Technology (2012) and Scott completed a bachelor's in Animal science. Cyndi then spent
time as a technician in Mississippi State College of veterinary medicine's Internal Medicine department while Scott completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (2017).

Scott Dunaway

Since vet school, the Dunaway's have made their home in Byhalia, where Cyndi was employed at a small animal clinic and Scott has been practicing mixed animal medicine. 

Their family includes their Daughter, Ella Marie with a Golden Retriever (Minnie), Labrador Retriever (Chipper), and a cat (Nala).

Dr. Lipscomb

Dr. Lipscomb received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and a B.S. in Animal and Dairy Science at Mississippi State University. Dr. Lipscomb is a native of Sardis, MS and is married to Ben Lipscomb of Como, MS. They have a 16-month-old son, John Garett. They also have a labrador retriever (Doc) and an Australian Shepard (Lotti). 

​Dr. Lipscomb is so excited to be returning to the Tate/ Desoto community after a year in Memphis, TN.

The Dunaway's are passionate about caring for animals and look forward to serving their home county and the people and animals that live there!
